Nirmala Convent High school, one of the leading institutions of the town, saw its origin on 18th June 1965, as a result of the great spiritual heritage handed down to generations by Blessed Brigida Morello, the Foundress of UMI Congregation. It is a co - educational institution which conducts classes up to XII in accordance with the 10+2 pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The first batch of students for AISSE appeared for the exam in 1977 and came out in flying colours with 100% result. The 100% result is repeated year after year until now. Let’s hope the success story continues….. The school was upgraded to Senior Secondary level in the year 2007 and the first batch of 67 students appeared for their AISSCE in 2009 and brought laurels to the school.
